Industries such as steel, cement, coal, household appliances, smartphones, computers, high-speed rail, and new energy vehicles account for over 50% of the world’s production, becoming a truly “world factory”. However, there is an important pump industry that can be called the “industrial heart”, but it has yet to achieve success in China. Chinese made pumps are not only difficult to handle in domestic high-end key processes, but they are almost invisible on the huge international pump industry stage. This is also an industrial product and equipment made in China that has not yet gained influence in the international market.
In fact, the pump manufacturing industry has been one of the most successful industries in China, as before the 1980s, China used some low-end pump products developed in the early 1950s and later introduced some relatively backward pump manufacturing processes from the old Soviet Union. It was not until the reform and opening up that China truly began to introduce advanced pump manufacturing technology from globally renowned brands.
