This series of fire pumps has the characteristic of variable flow and stable pressure, that is, within the full flow range, the head does not change much, and basically has the characteristic of quasi constant pressure. Therefore, it is called the XBD-Q system constant pressure fire pump. This performance characteristic fully conforms to the usage characteristics of the fire site, thus avoiding the phenomenon of ordinary centrifugal pumps being overpressure at small and medium flow rates in the fire site and unable to supply water at large flow rates.

Based on the characteristics of the constant pressure fire pump and the specific situation of our company, the constant pressure fire pump adopts a horizontal structure. For constant pressure fire pumps below 75kW (including 75kW), a vertical structure can also be used. The entire series adopts Y2 type direct connected motors with extended shafts, eliminating the coupling, which greatly improves the reliability of the pump unit; The constant pressure fire pump adopts a radial open impeller with small axial force and no mouth ring, preventing rust and bite, thus ensuring smooth operation, low noise, and long service life.

The pump casing is made of cast iron, and other flow components can be made of stainless steel, bronze, or other corrosion-resistant materials according to the specific needs of the user.

Purpose

XBD-Q series constant pressure fire pump is mainly used for water supply of fixed fire fighting systems (hydrant fire extinguishing system, automatic sprinkler system and water spray fire extinguishing system) in industrial and civil buildings. In addition, it can also be used for water supply systems shared by fire fighting and life (production), as well as water supply for buildings, municipal, industrial and mining, boilers and other occasions.
