Structure description
1. installation method
Single layer foundation: the motor and pump are directly connected on a foundation layer, and the pump discharge pipe can be arranged either below or above the foundation layer.
Double layer foundation: the motor and pump are installed on their respective foundation layers, and the pump discharge pipe is between the two foundation layers.
2. the pump is divided into non extractable type and rotor (including guide vane body) or pump integral extractable type.
3. the pump impeller is divided into centrifugal integral impeller or oblique flow integral impeller, bimetallic integral impeller and combined impeller.
4. the axial force of the pump is borne by the thrust bearing of the motor or by the thrust bearing of the pump itself according to the needs.
5. the bearings of the pump are rubber (wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, seawater resistant rubber) guide bearings, and rolling bearings are also used at the drive end (below the coupling). The pump shaft is usually equipped with a protective tube, which is filled with clean pressure water for the lubrication and flushing of the guide bearing. The pressure water can be controlled by a flow relay to prevent the bearing from being damaged by water shortage.
When the pump is used to transport sewage or water containing particles, the guide bearing end is equipped with an automatic shaft seal device to prevent the medium from entering the bearing after shutdown.
6. in addition to the materials resistant to seawater electrochemical corrosion, the pumps transporting seawater also adopt the cathodic protection device of the electrodynamic anode method or external power method to prevent the electrochemical corrosion of pump parts.
7. the pump is directly driven by the motor through rigid or elastic coupling.
8. the suction cone of the pump is divided into two types: the usual horn shape and the improved oval shape.
