Structural features

DG series centrifugal pump is a horizontal, single suction, segmented multistage centrifugal pump, with the suction port vertically upward and the discharge port vertically upward. The water inlet section, middle section, water outlet section and other pump shell parts of the pump are connected into one by tightening bolts, and bearing parts are set at both ends, and the pump stage is selected according to the pump head.

1. rotor components

The rotor part is mainly composed of the shaft and the impeller, shaft sleeve, balance disc and other parts installed on the shaft. The number of impellers is determined according to the number of stages of the pump. The parts on the shaft are fastened by the flat key and the shaft nut to make it integrated with the shaft. The whole rotor is supported by rolling bearings or sliding bearings at both ends. The bearing is determined according to different models and does not bear axial force. Its axial force is balanced by the balance disc.

2. sealing type

The sealing surfaces between the inlet section, middle section and outlet section of the pump are sealed with sealant or “O” ring. The sealing ring and guide vane sleeve are installed between the rotor part and the fixed part for sealing. When the wear degree of the sealing ring and guide vane sleeve has affected the working performance of the pump, it should be replaced in time.

There are two types of shaft seals, mechanical seal and packing seal. When the pump adopts packing seal, the position of the packing ring should be placed correctly, and the tightness of the packing must be appropriate, so that the liquid can seep out drop by drop. All kinds of sealing elements of the pump are installed in the sealing cavity, and the cavity should be filled with water with a certain pressure for water sealing, water cooling or water lubrication. A replaceable shaft sleeve is installed at the shaft seal to protect the pump shaft.

3. direction of rotation

This series of pumps are directly driven by prime mover through elastic coupling. From the coupling direction, the pump rotates clockwise.
